For the love of Golden Retrievers
I have been asked from time to time "how can you let them go". We love them and will never allow them to go into a home where we do not feel the fit is right. As a result we have met some of the most loving families out there. We have seen families fall in love over and over. We enjoy hearing from our puppies new families and will call them as well at times. Treasured Golden pups are welcome to make arrangements for visits. We have been known to have our pups come back and stay with us while their family goes on vacation or in the case of an emergency.
From our heart to your home. We always love to hear from Treasured Golden Families.
Karie,
I apologize for the delay in providing you with an update on the newest member of our family – Barclay! I’m not sure if you recall, but I purchased Barclay as a Christmas surprise for my wife, which could not have gone any better. Not only am I the proud owner of a great new puppy, but I have scored lots of brownie points at home. Anyways, Barclay is doing great. He’s 100% healthy, has a terrific personality, and has already impressed us with his ability to learn things quickly…and he loves to snuggle, which is probably my wife’s favorite attribute. It’s amazing how fast he has grown in the past two weeks. His curiosity and coordination have matured as well. He’s a ton of fun to be around and we are so happy to have him. I’ve pasted a couple of pictures below that I thought you might enjoy. We will continue to keep you updated in the future.
Thanks again,
Yeatts

Karie,
Salem is AMAZING! Such a doll! She is so beautiful and seems to have fallen in love with Winston! I think she has adjusted well to our little family. We exercise everyday- walks with Winston, dog park, swimming in the lake (she is so athletic and beautiful to watch!) and she recently started joining me on some runs!
She has also grown to be soooo big! She is over 60 lbs already! We just got her fixed and she is now starting to fill out and seems to not eat so much so I think her growing spurt is headed toward a plateau. We take the dogs almost everywhere we go and she always steals all the attention! She loves to ride in the car and sticks her head out of the window and tries to bite the wind! We are absolutely in love with her!
Thanks so much for checking in!
-Cris
Hey Karie,
Just wanted to say hey and tell you that Graham is doing great. He is so smart now, he now sits on command, stands up, lays down and speaks.
He loves to lay in the bathtub and bark until you turn the water on dribble, then he bites at it for entertainment.
We took him on vacation to the beach in July and he loved the ocean. He would chase the waves out and run from them coming in. We are taking him on 2 walks per day and somtimes even 3.
We go to a local dog park and he loves wrestling with the other dogs, he now weighs 71 lbs.
Here are a few pics.
Hope all is well with you and Jacob.
Take care and ttyl,
Mike & Bridget Martin
Hey Karie,
This is Mike Martin emailing you. I just talked on the phone earlier and just told Bridget about Abbey. We definitely would love to take her home. After all, she IS Grahams sister from a later litter...lol
Hi Keri. How are you? I hope you and the pups are well:) I have been meaning to send you pictures of Tanner for quite sometime.
Tanner was the name we all could agree on. He is the sweetest snuggle bear! We are all very much in love.
I can't believe how much he's grown. He's already 59.5 pound!
Now that the weather is finally warming up, I'm sure he'll be making his way across the street to the lake.
I think we can say we've about made it through the 'potty stage'. I had a trainer come over early this week to help me teach him to ring the bell when he needs to go out. He is so smart! He was ringing the bell in less than an hour!
Well, I just wanted to send you some pics so you can see how he's doing! Take care.

Karie,
Just wanted to let you know Luna did extremely well last night.
She has no problem going in her crate but when sleepy time came we tried the closing the crate door… She did not like that one bit.
So we blew up the air mattress and slept in the den with her. She sprawled out on the floor and was one happy camper! She only got up twice during the night and never cried or whimpered once…
She has been very happy, excited and playful. Especially after breakfast!
We have a bell next to a large sliding glass door in the den (next to her crate) for her to let us know she needs to go out. She’s already learned how to make it ring but hasn’t associated the ring with going outside. So cool, she is a smart one…
We are having fun. Sharon says she is a Daddy’s girl.
Sharon is working from home today and is keeping an eye on her. I’m building a playpen after work as I couldn’t find anything like your gate at Lowes or Wally World…
O – She did have a movement yesterday evening that had some white specs – nothing moving in it though. This morning I didn’t see any white specs. It was loose but not runny, I think sloppy would be a good term.
If you ever want to stop by and see her you are more than welcome too.
We have a backpacking trip to Yosemite coming up this September. If a flight wasn’t involved we would totally take her… If my folks are busy and you are available we may ask you to look after her.
Do you charge anything for looking after them?
Thanks again!
Tim

Laila is doing wonderful! She takes hour long hikes with me in McDowell Preserve and never gets tired. She just learned to swim over her head in Lake Wylie. I'll take pictures next time-its too cold this week-end. One of our customers is Carolina Doggie Playland so we are loking into doggy daycare for her during the day. She's probably doubled in size!

Hey Karie,
Holly is doing great! No runt here....she is already 45lbs. : ) She loves everybody she meets. She really loves Abby. When I let her out of her crate in the morning, she goes running up to Abby room and lays next to her. Atteched our some pictures if you want to post them. Wanted to ask you what you use to groom/brush your Goldens?
take care,
Russ

Karie,
I wanted to let you know that Ripple is doing fantastic! She is absolutely the sweetest puppy and is great with the children. She is sleeping through the night in her crate w/out any accidents. She is eating fairly well (she likes a little chicken broth over the dry food) and loves to play. When she is tired, though, she is finished and ready to sleep! Trey has had a great time with her and she is an awesome addition to the family. I will forward pictures when I have a chance to download! Allison
Karie and Jacob!!!
I apologize for the time lapse on this update, but I must say Molly is one amazing girl!!! At 18 months old I can actually walk her around the neighborhood without a leash. She doesn't leave my heel without permission (such a smart girl). I call her my beauty with brains. She is by far the happiest dog I have ever owned, her tail never stops wagging and she actually smiles in pictures...I swear. A joy to have...Molly just loves life and tennis balls :)
I promise I will send you more pictures...We are thinking about therapy school, she completely has the personality for it

Hi Karie,
Here are some pictures of our girl taken Saturday. Laila is the perfect dog. She hasn't met a person or a dog she doesn't love. We only used her crate a few times. She really never needed it. When we leave, she has the house, her doggie door and her fenced in yard. She never does any damage while we're gone. She never has an "accident" in the house. Wherever we go she gets compliments on her beauty but what we find most beautiful is her loving nature. When the grandchildren are over, she thinks she's just another one of the kids. She even climbs up the slide and slides down. I'll get a picture of this to send you. It is sooo cute! She loves to swim. She will swim after sticks as long as the grandchildren will throw them. She has brought so much joy to our family. My husband wants to get her a little brother but I'm afraid to get another dog-no dog could be as perfect as she is!
Your web page is very nice. The puppies are adorable!
Love,
The Salinas Family

Karie,
I apologize for how delinquent this note is to you. First of all I don't believe that we ever formally thanked you for taking care of Cooper when we went out of town. We knew he would be in great hands and much happier with you rather than cooped up in a kennel for 23 hours a day!!
In addition, I know you probably like to get some feedback on how "your" puppy is doing and let me tell you, we absolutely love him!! We had to put our Labrador down last summer and were attached to him like we are with all dogs. We waited a while and my wife came across your information. Next thing I knew we were getting a golden retriever puppy. His personality and demeanor is amazing. He is only 6 months old and he is doing wonderful things. We haven't done anything fancy, but he does what we say. He knows the difference between his stuff and our stuff, occasionally he will pick up one of the kids shoes laying around the house, but I think that is his way of helping us teach the kids to pick up their stuff. He is a very independent dog and loves everyone and is very good and calm with children.
We couldn't have asked for a better replacement for our dog.
We will send pictures soon in a different e-mail. Feel free to put us down for any references that you may need.
Thanks again,
Wayne & Jill Stover
Hi Karie!
I wanted to send you a few pictures of our newest family member -
Charlotte. We wanted to name her after the city she was born. We
love her very much and are having a great time with her. We took her
to the park today and she got soooo much love from everyone, it was
really funny!! I think she is already spoiled :)
Thanks again for our sweet little angel!

Hi Karie,
Good to see you acouple of weeks ago. I thought you might like to have a few photos of Sophie. Boy, has she grown. The last three pictures was of her @ about 6 months. Do you think she looks like her mom? She is a great companion. We go eberywhere together. I will send photos when she gets to one year.
Thanks.
Steve
Hi Karie,
Katie is doing great. She is such an amazing well behaved dog. We get compliments on her all
of the time and she has such a beautiful color. I can't believe it's almost her 1st birthday. Time sure
flies. Attached are a few recent pictures. Hope all is well with you and your family!
Enjoy!
Talk to you soon,
Heidi

Karie,

Wilkerson Family

Karie,
We just can't thank you enough!!! What a LOVE Lily is! She is everything you said she'd be. We just
can't get over how truly gorgeous she is...her pictures just didn't do her justice! And her personality is
perfectly suited to this family!
We have been busy getting to know one another but I'm sure she's a bit confused/bored here, missing her
brothers and Hallie and Karie/Jacob. As you mentioned, she loves following me around and has the
sweetest temperment. She's responded twice to going outside and going potty, but I need to observe her
needs and signs better.
Anya is brushing her at the moment, after she just giving her a vitamin. Anya can't stop picking her up;
how good-natured she is...even though Anya is so gentle. Lily was too excited to get a good nap today,
but fell asleep under my chair during dinner. I'm sure she's jet-lagged and we need to get her on a CA
schedule in time....
My husband, who wanted to be the big mean dad, just adores her (as I knew he would...how could you
not...I mention how gorgeous she is every second sentence!!). At the moment, he is at Long Beach airport
picking up Creagan who has no idea that Lily is home. We're keeping it a secret until he walks in the door
(so glad Lily got a nap before that!).
Anya and Cam both said they could never be breeders because they could never give up the dogs like you
did today. Know that we're thinking of you and Jacob, but also know that she is SOOO loved here.
We'll talk to you soon (and send photos when someone can actually do that here!).
Lisa Ann
